Science, Industry and Technology Minister Ergun meets Microsoft's CEO Ballmer

SEATTLE (A.A) - December 1, 2011 - Turkish Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun met with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft Corporation, Steve Ballmer, on Wednesday. Ergun's meeting with Ballmer took place at the Microsoft Redmond Campus and was closed to the press corps. Speaking to reporters following his meeting with Ballmer, Ergun said that he informed Ballmer on incentives the Turkish government gave to research and development projects. We invited Microsoft to invest in Turkey and asked them to establish a research and development center in Turkey, Ergun said. We were told by Ballmer that he would send a delegation to Turkey for possible investments, Ergun also said.
