Several agreements planned to be signed during Medvedev’s visit to China - Chinese Foreign Ministry

BEIJING, December 8. /TASS/. Moscow and Beijing plan to sign several agreements in energy, transport and other spheres in the framework of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to China, Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Chen Gopin told a press conference on Tuesday. "The relevant agencies and companies of the two countries will sign several agreements, including in the spheres of energy, space, civil aviation, nuclear energy, as well as scientific and humanitarian exchanges," the diplomat said. "The upcoming visit of Dmitry Medvedev to China will facilitate cooperation between Russia and China in trade and economic and every other sphere. It will also be an important diplomatic event," Gopin said. Medvedev is scheduled to pay a visit to China on December 14-17. The Russian prime minister is due to attend a meeting of the Heads of Government Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Zhengzhou, in east-central China, on December 14-15. On December 16, Medvedev will speak at the opening ceremony of the Second World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, in east China’s Zhejiang Province. He will also hold the 20th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China in Beijing on December 16-17 together with China’s Premier Li Keqiang. Read more
