Sri Lanka To Sign MoU With M'sia, Bangladesh & Thailand To Purchase Pharmaceuticals

COLOMBO, March 10 (Bernama) -- Sri Lanka's Health Ministry will sign memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with Malaysia, Bangladesh and Thailand to purchase pharmaceuticals to reduce its dependency on India, said a report. "We expect these three countries to send us quality drugs," said The Sunday Leader quoting Health Ministry Media Spokesman W M D Wanninayake as saying. He believed that government-to-government agreements would ensure the quality of the pharmaceutical products. -- BERNAMA
