Sunway Opens Regional Sales Office In Shanghai

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- Sunway Hotels & Resorts has opened a regional sales office in Shanghai, China, representing its 11 hotels and resorts in Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam, in partnership with China's Century Holiday International Travel Group. In a statement, the hospitality division of the Malaysian conglomerate Sunway Group said it aims to achieve double-digit revenue growth for its hotels arising from the burgeoning and affluent outbound Chinese travel market. "As the Chinese outbound travellers continue to accelerate demand for new experiences, each of our hotels in recent months has completed numerous upgrades and renovations. "Working alongside Century Holiday will provide Sunway the platform to capture a significant share of the growing number of Chinese outbound travellers across all segments of the market," said its Chief Executive Officer, Albert Cheong. -- BERNAMA
