Tbilisi To Host 1st Iran-Georgia Trade Co-op Confab

Tehran, May 12, IRNA – The first conference on Iran-Georgia economic and trade cooperation would be held in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi on July 1-2, it was reported here Sunday. The two-day conference would be held with participation of over 100 officials, bankers, businessmen and managers of industrial groups from the two countries, said Iran Central Chamber of Cooperatives in a statement. The conference would be a proper chance to present Iranian products to the Georgian side, added the statement. Iran attaches great importance to promotion of trade ties with Georgia as a highway to various markets and a member of the Commonwealth of Independence States (CIS), it further noted./end
