Technology Park Invites Entrepreneurs for Training

Doha, April 13 (QNA) - Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) Wednesday announced the opening of registration for the fourth cycle of 'QSTP Accelerator' incubation programme for youth entrepreneurs. The three-month business incubation, training and mentorship programme, helps budding entrepreneurs in Qatar transform their ideas into viable commercial ventures. Starting this September, registration for the programme is open to individuals residing in Qatar who require mentoring, funding and physical space to grow their technology-based ideas. Interested innovators and entrepreneurs are urged to submit their applications before 15th May. QSTPs Managing Director Hamad Al Kuwari said, "QSTP Accelerator' addresses an increasing demand for innovative technology-based entrepreneurship ventures in Qatar. The commercialisation of technology-based innovations is a strategic focus for QSTP, addressing the needs of the local and international markets in one of many areas, including Energy, Environment, Health Sciences, and Information and Communication Technologies." Interested applicants should submit their applications through QSTP's website. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a series of interviews, which will include delivering a five-minute presentation. The programme supports Qatar Foundation Research and Developments (QF R&D) dedication to nurturing and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in Qatar. (QNA)
