Tehran-Damascus Mull Expansion Of Economic Ties

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – Syrian Prime Ministry secretary Taysir al-Zaabi and special advisor to Iran’s Foreign Minister Hassan Kazemi Qomi on Monday discussed ways to expand bilateral economic relations Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi is scheduled to travel to Tehran on Tuesday at the invitation of Iranian First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi. In today’s meeting between the two countries’ delegations, chaired by al-Zaabi and Kazemi Qomi, the two sides explored avenues for expansion of economic relations. The Iranian side expressed its readiness to share its experiences with Syria so that it can pass through the current crisis.
