Tehran To Host ICEH 2012 Late Nov.

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA – The International Conference on Electronic Health 2012 (ICEH 2012) will be held here from November 29-30. Head of the Medical Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Shahabeddin Sadr, told IRNA on Monday that 240 articles have been sent to the Secretariat of the Conference, which will focus on role of e-health in overcoming world health challenges. E-health is a key element in the Iranian government’s broad health reform agenda. It will bring revolutionary improvements in health care for all Iranians. Over time it will touch and transform every aspect of health care, bringing benefits to consumers and clinicians alike, and offering exciting new opportunities for industry. The conference is an opportunity for all those with an interest in the field to discuss and debate the evolution of e-health. The program will be composed of presentations of selected papers, invited lectures by world famous scientists, round table discussions and workshops. The interested institutions will have a chance to exhibit their works and activities in the conference exhibition halls. ICEH 2012 has teamed up with the International Journal of Healthcare Information System and Informatics، International Journal of Reliable and quality E-healthcare and International Journal of Hospital Research for publishing two special journal issues on advances in health and medical informatics and hospital research. All submitted papers will have opportunities for consideration for this Special Journal Issue. The selection will be carried out during the review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. Keynote speakers will be Professor Joseph Tan, Ph.D., McMaster University, Canada, Professor Aditya K. Ghose, Ph.D., University of Wollongong, Australia, and Dr Najeeb Al-Shorbaji from the World Health Organization (WHO)./end
