TEMP Pop-Up Store by GIT to be launched in Bangkok

BANGKOK, August 10 (TNA) - The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) will include its "TEMP Pop-Up Store" in the GIT Gem and Jewelry Museum in Bangkok as of September 2018 to showcase and sell locally-produced gems and jewelry items from selected areas and even DEmark masterpieces. GIT Director Duangkamol Jiambutr told journalists of the update on August 9, acknowledging that the newly-opened "TEMP Pop-Up Store" will mainly promote and showcase gems and jewelry items from five Thai provinces targeted and supported by GIT, including Phrae, Trat, Petchaburi, Surin and Satun. Besides, masterpieces of leading designers who have received the Design Excellent Mark (DEmark) Awards from the Department of International Trade Promotion, under the Thai Ministry of Commerce, and the Good Design Mark (GMARK) from Japan, including eye glasses, purses, paper bags, scarves, clothes and other lifestyle products, will also be on display and sold at the TEMP Pop-Up Store. According to the GIT director, products on display and sale at the TEMP Pop-Up Store will be changed every three months to provide international visitors with diverse and more inspring items. The GIT director said a central platform where lovers of designs and fashions can meet and hold their business talks will also be arranged in the compound of the TEMP Pop-Up Store, in which information on how to look through and separate between natural diamond pieces and those fake and synthetic ones will also be publicly provided.
