Thai exports expected to grow by 4% in 2015

BANGKOK, October 24 (TNA) - The Ministry of Commerce says that Thai exports are likely to grow by 4 per cent in 2015. Holding optimism that world major economies, including Japan, the United States and the European Union (EU), have been recovering, Duangkamol Jiambutr, Deputy Director-General of the ministry's Department of International Trade Promotion, made the forecast on Friday. Duangkamol elaborated that the economic recovery of the three major countries should help push Thai exports to sustain the targeted growth rate next year. The senior official also projected that Thailand's export value should exceed 200 billion US dollars this year. (TNA)
