Thailand to boost trade with Spain

BANGKOK, Jan 10 (TNA) - The Commerce Ministry’s International Trade Promotion Department is attempting to boost trade with Spain. Malee Choklumlerd, director-general of International Trade Promotion Department, said she is to lead outstanding Thai chefs and food producers to participate in ‘Madrid Fusion’ festival to be held in Madrid between January 23 – 28. ‘Madrid Fusion’ is recognised globally as more than 100 celebrity chefs demonstrate on preparing special food to be watched by over 1,000 prominent businessmen and journalists. Outstanding chefs from three popular Thai restaurants will participate and represent Thailand at the festival. Mrs. Malee said she is scheduled to also confer with high-ranking Spanish government officials on widening trade between the two countries . (TNA)
