Thailand destroys huge lot of pirated goods

SA KAEO, THAILAND, September 10 (TNA) - Thailand has destroyed over 20,000 items of pirated goods, worth over 10 million baht. Uaychai Kulthipmontree, Chief of Customs Bureau Region 1, presided over a ceremony to destroy the counterfeit goods at Arunyaprathet Customs House in Thailand's eastern Sa Kaeo Province on Thursday. The 10-million-baht counterfeit goods were seized from areas near the Thai-Cambodian border by local customs and security forces over the past two months. The burnt fake goods of 68 cases included clothes, blankets, sportswears, footwares, handbags, belts and glasses. (TNA)
