Thailand to host TBEX Asia 2015

BANGKOK, April 8 (TNA) - Thailand will host the Travel Blog Exchange 2015 (TBEX Asia 2015) from October 15-17, the first country in Asia to be chosen to host the forum. Juthaporn Rerngronasa, Deputy Governor of the state-run Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for European, African, Middle East and American Markets, told journalists that over 1,000 international bloggers are expected to participate in the three-day forum, set to be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. Juthaporn said that the forum, coincided with TAT's 2015 Discover Thainess, will provide a good opportunity for Thailand to promote tourist attractions internationally, as the participating bloggers are likely to be accompanied by over 10,000 followers. Besides, Thai entrepreneurs will have a good opportunity to directly market their products via the online platform and reach out their targeted groups efficiently. (TNA)
