Thailand Industry Expo 2019 set in July

BANGKOK, May 28 (TNA) - The Ministry of Industry will organize the "Thailand Industry Expo 2019", the 6th of its kind, in July, aimed specially to support business operators running small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country. Permanent Secretary for Industry Pasu Loharjun told journalists on Tuesday that the "Thailand Industry Expo 2019", themed “Synergy for Success”, will be held at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani on the outskirts of Bangkok during July 17-21. "The five-day event will mostly benefit business operators, especially those running SMEs, as they can access to relevant knowledge and financial sources, together with opportunities for the creation of their business networks", Pasu said. Meanwhile, Kobchai Sungsitthisawad, Director-General of the ministry's Department of Industrial Promotion, revealed that there will be many exhibition zones in the fair, including those on industrial digital and innovations, industrial communities and the international collaboration between Thailand and other member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other foreign trading partners, along with the one on royal projects and activities of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn. Besides, business operators, especially those running SMEs, are also welcome to present and sell their innovative products at the Thai Entrepreneur Zone in the fair. (TNA)
