Thailand Lighting Fair 2018 set Nov 8-10

BANGKOK, October 12 (TNA) - The state-run Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Thailand, will organize "Thailand Lighting Fair 2018", a grand international expo on trade and technologies of lighting products, in Bangkok next month. PEA Governor Sermsakul Klaikaew told journalists on October 11 that the "Thailand Lighting Fair 2018", to be organized for the 4th consecutive year, will be held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) in Bangna area during November 8-10 under the theme of the "Future of Light : smart, sustainable, human-centric". The PEA governor said the upcoming three-day lighting fair, where a most comprehensive collection of lighting innovations in the ASEAN Community (AC) will be on public display, is aimed to promote Thailand's potential as a regional hub of lighting innovations and to become a major platform for a share of knowledge and innovative technologies on lighting products with reasonable power consumption costs for Thai firms in order to enhance their competitiveness on the world market in the future and to help generate the national economic growth on the sustainable basis. According to the governor, PEA has also organized other lighting fairs so far this year, including PEA HOME CONNEXT and PEA IHAPM, as well as has introduced its subsidiaries, including ESCO Facilitator, PEA ENCOM International and PEA Volta, where solar rooftop systems, electric traditional Thai tricycles, or Tuk Tuk, and other electric vehicles are developed.
