TOURISM MEETING HELD BETWEEN ULAANBAATAR AND MANCHURIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Such a meeting ran between Ulaanbaatar and the Chinese Manchuria city on October 17-20 in China. This became a continuation of the Mongolia-China tourism forum which was held in June of this year. The Mongolian representatives introduced to the Chinese organization gathered some products and museum exhibits. Near a border with Russia, Manchuria is considered the largest port city of China, being developed by the administration as a special tourism zone. This city receives 4.6 million tourists every year, earning CNY 6.9 billion. On October of 2013, Mongolia’s "Hunnu Airlines" company launched direct flights between Mongolia’s Choibalsan (center of Dornod aimag) and Manchuria city. Now that a visa-free agreement will enter into force this November between Mongolia and Russia, conditions have been created to open a Russia-Manchuria-Ulaanbaatar-Russia flight, and related officials are discussing this matter.
