Trade with China Beats The exchanges With Other Countries By a Large Margin

BAGHDAD / NINA / The Acting Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Ahmed commend the advanced bilateral relations between Iraq and China, which hoped to see more high-level diplomatic representation emphasis on Iraq policy in opening up to the East Asian countries. A statement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers cited today: "The secretary-general of the Council of Ministers met the Chinese ambassador in Baghdad, who stressed his country's keenness on links that are in the benefit of the two countries, and China had previously allocated large sums of money for humanitarian aid in Iraq." Ahmed said that " the size of trade between Iraq and China dominated the list of exchanges with the rest of the world by marked difference." He added: "Iraq is ready to achieve the project of (silk belt), containing several major investment projects in the fields of transport and communications, and the Secretariat will provide an appropriate atmosphere coordination in this regard," ./ end
