Trade turnover between Russia and Turkey grew to $22 bln by end of 2017 - Putin

ANKARA, April 3. /TASS/. The trade turnover between Russia and Turkey increased to $22 bln over the past year, which is not the limit for the bilateral cooperation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "It is rewarding that by the end of 2017 the trade turnover between our countries increased by an impressive 40% to $22 bln. I am convinced that this is not the limit," Putin said at a meeting of the Russian-Turkish top-level cooperation Council. The seventh meeting of the Council which is chaired by the presidents of Russia and Turkey was held in Ankara on Tuesday.
