Tune Hotels' Latest Addition In Newcastle, UK

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- Tune Hotels has opened its sixth hotel in the UK as it continues to boost its presence there. Situated in the heart of Newcastle, the 104-room hotel was opened in Newcastle on Oct 27, Tune Hotels Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Lankester said in a statement. It is located in Proctor House, just 600 metres from the Newcastle Central railway station. The global chain already has four hotels in London and another in Edinburgh. Another hotel is on the way in Canary Wharf, London. Prices across the Tune Hotels' UK network start from £25 a night for a double or twin room. Lankester said Tune Hotels planned to have 25 hotels across the UK, representing an investment of over £200 million with its partners in the next five years. "We will be targeting major business cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds, as well key university cities where our concept has proved very popular," he added. --BERNAMA
