Turkeyˈs Oil, Gas Import From Iran To Exceed dlrs7.6b

Tehran, Jan 25, IRNA – Turkeyˈs Energy Minister said that Ankara has purchased dlrs7.6b of oil and gas from Iran in 2013 and intends to increase its trade exchange level with Tehran. Taner Yildiz made the remarks in a meeting in Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, adding that the oil and gas purchase figure from Iran is noticeable. He said that the figure included dlrs4.5b for importing natural gas and dlrs3.1b importing crude oil. Yildiz reminded that Turkey intends to increase bilateral trade exchange level with Iran. Concerning Geneva nuclear agreement between Iran and Group 5+1, Turkeyˈs Energy Minister said that Ankara enjoys the most of the deal, because Iran is a neighboring and friendly country for Turkey./end
