Turkey's exports of chemical products reaches 15 bln USD

ISTANBUL (A.A) - December 5, 2011 - Turkey's exports of chemical products were up 33 percent in the first 11 months of 2011 when compared to the same period last year and reached 15 billion USD. In a statement released Monday, the Union of Exporters of Chemical Substances and Products in Istanbul (IKMIB) said that the chemical products constituted Turkey's biggest exports after the automotive sector. Turkey's chemical products were mainly exported to Egypt, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Russian Federation, Italy, Greece, Azerbaijan-Nakhchevan, Malta and Romania.
