Turkish-Arab Industrial Cooperation Conference begins in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (A.A) - December 6, 2011 - Turkish-Arab Industrial Cooperation Conference began in Istanbul on Tuesday. A message sent by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the conference said that territorial integrity of every country in the region must be preserved. "We should not allow this process to be conducted by sectarian, ethnical or ideological tendencies," he said. Premier Erdogan said all countries must work to turn demands and actions of people into democratic and institutional politics. Turkey attached a great importance to development of its economic and commercial relations with Arab countries, he said. Trade volume between Turkey and Arab countries reached 33.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2010, he added.
