Turkish investors briefed on capabilities of Iranian province

Ankara, Nov 11, IRNA – In the course of meetings held between Iranian and Turkish officials capacities, opportunities and capabilities for foreign investment in Chaharmaha and Bakhtiyari Province were outlined to Turkish investors. A provincial delegation headed by Nourollah Gholamian Dehkordi, Mayor of Shahr-e Kord, and comprising officials and a number of provincial private sector representatives arrived in Istanbul and met with Turkish investors and entrepreneurs as well as Mohsen Mortezaeifar, Iran’s Consul General in the city. The delegation also visited the International Shoe Exhibition in Istanbul and held talks with Mortezaeifar and staff of the Iranian Consul General. Referring to investment potentials in different fields particularly in tourism industry in Iran, Mortezaeifar said: “We support visit of officials and interested bodies of different Turkish provinces for elucidation of investment opportunities and optimal use of their capacities, capabilities and skills towards further promotion of exports.” Meanwhile, chairman of Shahr-e Kord Chamber outlined capacities and potential capabilities existing in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiyari Province and stressed full readiness of provincial officials for the expansion of trade with Turkey.
