UAE exported 22.466m barrels of crude oil to Japan in January: Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

TOKYO, 1st March, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE exported 22.466 million barrels of crude oil to Japan in January 2017, accounting for 20.9 per cent of Japan's total crude imports in the same month, according to Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Saudi Arabia accounted for 44.685 million barrels, or 41.7 per cent of Japan's total imports in the same month, while Kuwait, Russia Qatar and Iran accounted for 8 per cent, 6.4 per cent, 6.1 per cent, and 6 per cent respectively, the ministry said in a statement citing data from its Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.
