Ukraine, Iran agree to launch test train running through Azerbaijan

Baku, April 20, AZERTAC Ukraine and Iran have agreed to run test trains to transport agricultural products, primarily grain from Ukraine to Iran, that will pass through Georgia and Azerbaijan. According to Ukraine`s Ministry of Infrastructure, the test train may be launched this summer. “This is a very promising area of cooperation for both countries. Ukraine needs to develop a new international transport corridors in order to become a reliable transit bridge between Europe, Asia and the East,” the ministry said.
