Veep Inaugurates New Steel Company In Northeastern Iran

Tabriz, April 29, IRNA – Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi inaugurated Nasr-e Azarbaijan Steel Company in the Northeastern East Azarbaijan province on Sunday. The inaugural ceremony of Iranˈs new steel company took place concurrent with the fourth round of provincial tour of President Ahmadinejad and cabinet ministers to East Azarbaijan province. Nasr-e Azarbaijan Steel Company has the output capacity of 300,000 tons of different steel products. The company has been built in a land with an area of 83,000 square meters and A total of USD 12 million has been spent for purchasing and procuring the machinery from abroad. A total of 100 jobs have been created after launching the steel company./end
