Waste recycling to be on BRICS agenda in 2020 - official

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. The issues of waste disposal and recycling will be on the BRICS agenda in 2020, Head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin told TASS on Wednesday. "The issue of waste processing, which concerns us all, especially nations with such large territories, has already begun to resurface in our agenda," he said. "So does a lot of other things, on which we are working now. I hope they all will be implemented in the period of our chairmanship." This year, the BRICS summit is held in Brasilia. Russia will assume the rotating presidency in the organization on January 1, 2020, and the next BRICS summit will be held in Russia’s second largest city of St. Petersburg in July. Read more
