Ways to support private sector projects discussed

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): Finance Minister, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met here today the CEO of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB)'s Islamic Cooperation for the Development of the Private Sector, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Aboodi. The meeting discussed areas of cooperation with the Islamic Cooperation for the Development of the Private Sector regarding the support of the projects of the private sector in Bahrain. The minister praised the vital role played by the Islamic Cooperation for the Development of the Private Sector in delivering all kinds of support and technical consultation to the representatives of the private sector and entrepreneurs in member states to strengthen their efficiency and double their competitive potentials. He also lauded the solid cooperation between the kingdom and the IDB, a leader in supporting development projects across Arab and Islamic countries. Issues related to the banking and financial sector were also discussed.
