WOC2 Group Visits Southern Pars Special Zone

Bushehr, Oct 5, IRNA – A group of 30 experts from International Gas Union (WOC2- gas storage) visited development plans in Southern Pars gas field in Assalouyeh in Bushehr province on Friday. According to the report of Pars Special Zone Website, the one-day visit included visits to refineries for under construction phases of 15 and 16, gas production process in refineries of numbers 4 and 5 as well as Nouri Petrochemical Complex in Pars Special Economic-Energy Zone. The group is also considering a feasibility study for investment in developing projects in Southern Pars. WOC2 gas storage is affiliated to IGU which was established in 1931 and now has members from 81 countries and its headquarter is in Oslo, Norway. The WOC2 aims at providing key information regarding underground gas storage to both its members and decision makers./end
