WOOL PRODUCTS SHOW ORGANIZED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A design show introducing Mongolia-made wool products ran at the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Wednesday. At the event, organized by the NCCI in partnership with Oyu Tolgoi and Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and Gerege Partner, an exhibition of work wears made of Galba camel wool were displayed as well. The wool wears present outcomes of an initiation to create brands of camel wool product within the Oyu Tolgoi support program for local businesses. Within it, determining the correlation and interdependence between involving parties of the cost network, the organizers have sought the ways to produce value-added products from camel wool. Attending the event, Sh.Baigalmaa, a Director of Regional development and social performance at Oyu Tolgoi, said,"Products made from baby camel wool, fall into the category of luxury products alongside cashmere. They have great potential to become one of Mongolia’s best brands and can represent Mongolia worldwide".
