Zimbabwe, Iran to hold joint economic commission

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare (MCLSW) has announced that Zimbabwe and the Islamic Republic have reached consensus to hold a joint economic commission in Tehran. Hamed Forouzan, an advisor to the minister of cooperatives, labor, and social welfare and the head of the International Affairs Office of (MCLSW), said on Wednesday that in a meeting with Zimbabwe’s charge d'affaires in Iran, the two sides discussed topics of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for the future joint economic commission of both countries. Forouzan explained the charts and duties of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare in the meeting with the Zimbabwean diplomat. Never Mutizwa, Zimbabwean charge d'affaires to Tehran, pointed to the appropriate political and social interactions between Zimbabwe and Iran, calling for the expansion of trade and economic ties between the two countries.
