CAFA Futsal Cup. National team of Kyrgyzstan to play with team of Tajikistan

Bishkek, July 25, 2023. /Kabar/. Today, the third round of the CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 will be held in Dushanbe.

At 14:00 the teams of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will play. At 17:00 the national teams of Afghanistan and Iran will meet. The match Tajikistan - Kyrgyzstan will be at 20:00.

Based on the results of the last two rounds, the Afghanistan team is leading in the standings with 6 points for victories in both matches. The second place was taken by the team of Uzbekistan, the 4th - by Tajikistan. The table is closed by Turkmenistan, Iran and Kyrgyzstan.

Recall that in the first round, the Kyrgyz football players lost to the Afghan rivals with a score of 4:5, and in the second round they lost to the Iranian team with a score of 1:0.

CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 is taking place from July 23 to 28 at the multifunctional sports complex in Dushanbe. Six teams from Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are participating in the first-ever tournament among the national futsal teams of Central Asian countries.

A total of 15 matches will be played within the tournament. The competition will be held in a round robin system in one round - the teams will play each other once.
