Chinese Embassy to help open 10 kindergartens - Imanaliev

Bishkek, July 19, 2023. /Kabar/. The Chinese Embassy will help open 10 kindergartens, and 15 kindergartens will be opened with the assistance of the business community, Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Imanaliev said at a board meeting following the results of the first half of 2023.

According to him, more than 1,000 applications were received as part of the pilot project of the Government Accelerators program, and 728 people were trained. 553 people received certificates and 240 people registered as individual entrepreneurs. 33 home-type kindergartens have been opened, 900 children are enrolled in pre-school education.

“Another 25 home-type kindergartens will be opened as part of the Government Accelerators program in the coming month. The Chinese Embassy will help open 10 kindergartens, and 15 kindergartens will be opened with the assistance of the business community,” the minister said.

Kanybek Imanaliev said that there had never been such support for the education sector before, and stated that the Ministry of Education and Science had fulfilled 95.6% of the instructions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and 86.4% of the instructions of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
