ˈSnow’ To Be Shown In Indian Festival

Tehran, Sept 21, IRNA - Iranian director Mehdi Rahmani’s ‘Snow’ will be shown in the 16th International Mumbai Film Festival in India. The prestigious festival is scheduled for October 14-24. ‘Snow’ has participated in a number of international events, and has been awarded the The APSA Academy Children’s Film Fund, wrote Sunday's edition of 'Iran Daily'. ‘Snow’ is a contemporary domestic drama rooted in the fragility of modern life as it is influenced by economics and appearances. It is about the travails of the Vaziri family. Once affluent, the Vaziris now find themselves poor and bankrupt. Their only daughter plans to marry and a suitor is soon found. Problems arise for the daughter when she finds that she must introduce her suitor to her family.
