‘TSAATAN FESTIVAL’ TO BE HELD IN JULY 6-7

Khuvsgul /MONTSAME/ Annual ‘Tsaatan Festival’ is to be held on July 7-8, at Dalai tour camp on the south-west side of Khuvsgul Lake. The aim of the festival is to introduce the reindeer herd, which is called sixth type of livestock of Khuvsgul aimag, and promote the unique lifestyle of the Tsaatan ethnic minority (reindeer herders) to foreigners and locals. The festival will be held for the 14th year along with interesting events such as reindeer race, shaman rituals, fireworks and visit to the Tsaatan tribe.
