200 REPRESENTATIVES FROM RUSSIA AND CHINA TO TAKE PART IN MUNKH TENGER FESTIVAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Munkh Tenger’ Arts and Cultural Festival of Mongol Nations which is intended to preserve, inherit and promote cultural heritage and traditions of Mongolian Nation will be held in Ulaanbaatar between July 6 and 8. The festival will involve over 200 representatives from Mongolia, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and Qinghai province of China, Federal subjects of Russia: Hohhot, Buryatia, Tuva, Kalmykia, Altai and Saha, Mongolian professional artists and inheritors of cultural intangible heritage and cultural entrepreneurs. Various activities will take place during the festival such as ‘Mongolian Heritage towards Sustainable Development’ academic conference, exhibition and trade fair of cultural products and artists’ concert.
