Bani-Etemad Wins Venice Intˈl Film Festival Top Award

Tehran, Sept 7, IRNA - Iranian drama Tales directed by Rakhshan Bani-Etemad won the screenplay award of the 71st Venice International Film Festival in Italy, it was reported on Sunday. Bani-Etemad managed to snatch the award out of 20 top screenplays. Tales is composed of seven short episodes, in which Bani-Etemad reveals the fate of some of the main characters in her previous films like ''The Blue-Veiled" , "Under the Skin of the City" and "Mainline". Started on Aug 27, the 71st annual Venice Film Festival wrapped up on September 6, 2014. The aim of the Festival is to raise awareness and promote various aspects of international cinema in its various forms as arts, entertainment and as an industry./end
