BAYANGOL NOMADIC FESTIVAL TAKES PLACE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On August 8, Bayangol district of the capital city hosted the second ‘Bayangol Nomadic Festival’ at the Khui Doloon Khudag with the aim of promoting traditional culture, customs, sports, and folk arts of Mongolia, attracting domestic and foreign tourists, as well as creating new trend. The festival occurred on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of cooperation between Bayangol district and Schönefeld municipality of Germany. Apart from the authorities of the district, 50 delegates from Schönefeld municipality headed by Mayor and Member of Parliament Udo Haase, Mayor as well as representatives from Seongdong district of Seoul city and railway administration of Ulan-Ude city were present at the festival. ‘Deeltei Mongol’ parade and three manly-games took place during the event.
