Four Iranian films nominated for Japan Festival

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – Four films produced by Iranian Youth Cinema Association were nominated for the 17th International Japan Short Film Festival. Short film 'Silence' directed by Mehrdad Hosni, ' Season of Return' by Abbas Amini Mehrdad Hassani, 'Cut' by Reza Jamalirad and 'Cloudy Children' by Reza Fahimi were submitted to the secretariat of the festival. The international festival is considered one of the acclaimed short film festivals in the world. Selected films will be screened in the three sections of Asia, Japan and international. Based on the festival's regulations, submitted films from Iran will be screened if they are selected for the competition section. The festival is slated to be held in Tokyo from May 28-June 7, 2015./end
