Iranian Director Wins Leiden Festival Award

Tehran, June 17, IRNA – Documentary short film ˈBroken Borderˈ directed by Keyvan Karimi grabbed special award of the Fifth Leiden International Experimental Short Films Festival in the Netherlands. The film which represented the Iranian cinema was screened in the main competitive section of the festival. Fifth Leiden International Experimental Short Films Festival attended by 142 films from 51 countries was held in Leiden during June 1-8. ˈBroken Borderˈ which is about fuel smuggling has so far been showcased in different Iranian and foreign festivals winning various awards./end
