Iranian Movies To Be Aired In E. Asian States

Tehran, May 28, IRNA – An international TV network will broadcast Iranian films for its audience in the East Asian countries. According to a report by Farabi Cinematic Foundation, TV Network ‘PATV’ whose central office is in Singapore is planning to air the Iranian films to the East Asian states. The officials of the network visited Iran’s pavilion in Cannes Film Market and selected a number of Iranian movies for broadcasting in Singapore, China, India, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and South Korea. “Growing in the Wind’ directed by Rahbar Qanbari, ‘Cinema Dream’ by Ali and Hamid Shah-Hatami and ‘Hotchpotch’ by Ebrahim Forouzesh are among the works to be broadcast in these countries./end
