Iranian short film, candidate for Oscar

Tehran, June 15, IRNA – Reza Fahimi's 'Cloudy Children' short film won two main awards of Japan International Film Festival, thus becoming a candidate for the 2016 Oscar Academy Award. Japan Film Festival was Cloudy Children's first international presentation in which it gained the best Asian short film award and the festival's grand prize. The film is produced by Rafsanjan Young Cinema Association and the film commentators in Tokyo believe it has high chances for wining the best short feature film award of the 2016 Oscar. Japan International Film Festival is one of the top five festival of its kind in the world and is considered as a threshold for introduction of the short films to Oscar.
