Iraqi Official: Iranian Short Films Festival Appropriate Model

Tehran, October 18, IRNA – Managing Director of Iraq's Sulaimaniyeh Culture and Arts Office said Friday beyond doubt Iraqi officials will try to take models from Iranian Short Films Festival and use it for holding such festivals in Iraq. Muhammad Fattah Muhammad who was attending the Iranian Short Films Festival said that the jurors in the festival judged the presented films very professionally and bias-free, calling the festival 'Quite an academic and credible festival' 'What we saw during these few days were reflective of a credible and effective festival in the field of short films,' said the Iraqi cultural official. He said that the jurors of the festival and their performance were the most significant aspect of the event, which was very interesting and worth deep contemplation for the Iraqi delegation./end
