Persian Films Awarded In China, Turkey

Tehran, June 22, IRNA -- Iranian movie ˈI Am Not Angryˈ, directed by Reza Dormishian, has received three awards at the 17th Shanghai International Film Festival. The film won the best the Asian New Talent Award for Best Film and Best Director, and the Vincent Ward Prize, according to Iran Dailyˈs Sunday edition. The event was held from June 14-22, 2014. Two Iranian short films were also honored at the Second Altin Pars Film Festival in Ankara, Turkey. ˈTehran, Khaniabad, 1366ˈ, directed by Seyyed Emad Hosseini and ˈJumping in the Ryeˈ, by Abtin Salimi Tari have been awarded in the eventˈs competition section. Hosseiniˈs movie was honored in the Peace section, while Tariˈs film won the best short film award in the international section. The Second Altin Pars Film Festival was held from June 14-18.
