Royal Floria Putrajaya To Be In Full Bloom Soon

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 10 (Bernama) – The Royal Floria Putrajaya 2018 showcasing 400,000 trees of various species of flowering and ornamental plants, is expected to attract about 1.5 million visitors when it opens its doors from Aug 25 to Sept 2. Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said the garden and flower festival which marks it 10th anniversary this year has been aptly themed 10 Wonders of Floria. It will be held at Anjung Floria Event Centre, Presint 4 in Putrajaya. A wide variety of orchids, roses, begonias, chrysanthemum and the national flower, the hibiscus, would be among the flowers on display, he said during a press conference after the pre-launch of the Royal Floria Putrajaya 2018 here, Thursday. The festival will also coincide with the Aug 31 National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya, here. Entrance ticket for adults from Monday to Friday are priced at RM12 while children, senior citizens and disabled people will be charged RM6. Entrance tickets on weekends are priced at RM15 and RM8 respectively for both categories. Tickets for foreigners from Monday to Friday are priced at RM24 (adults) and RM12 (children, disabled and senior citizens) while tickets for foreigners on weekends are priced at RM30 and RM16 for both categories.
