Visual Arts Centre Organizes Art Exhibition

Doha, Februay 01 (QNA) - The Visual Arts Centre of the Ministry of Culture and Sports will organize the annual exhibition of 6 Artists from Qatar at the centre's gallery in the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) at the start of the artistic activities of the centre in 2016. Director of the Centre Hanadi Al Darwish said the exhibition is held annually to show the Qatari skills and innovations in various aspects of art through focussing on the new experiences of the participating Qatari artists and will also introduce new Qatari names to the artistic arena to join the Qatari artistic scene. She added that the exhibition will monitor the most important artistic and technological developments of Qatari young and middle-aged artists. Al Darwish explained that artists Issa Al Mulla, Mubarak Al Malik, Sheikha Eid Al Thani, Moudhi Al Hajri, Muna Bujassoum and Hayfa'a Al Sada will take part in the exhibition.(QNA)
