Earthquake Hits Santa Cruz

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter Scale hit the Santa Cruz Islands at 6.41 a.m. (Malaysian time) today. The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said in a statement today that the earthquake occurred about 182 kilometres southeast off Lata in the Solomon Islands at a depth of 130 kilometres.
