Indian film festival (IFFK) hosts 13 Iranian films

New Delhi, Dec 10, IRNA - Thirteen Iranian films are participating in the 21st International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) which opened in south of India on Friday. The event kicked off in the presence of Indian Minister for Law, Cultural Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, SC/ST Development A.K .Balan and some artists from different countries, namely Iran in Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. The festival screened a film by the Iranian director Navid Mahmoudi, called 'Parting' which narrates the story of an Iranian couple emigrating from Iran. Iranian movies 'Daughter' (Reza Mirkarimi), ' Duet' (Navid Danesh), 'We don't get used to' (Ebrahim Ebrahimian), 'Inversion' (Behnam Behzadi), 'Sister' (Maryam Ashrafi Zadeh), 'The Salesman' (Asghar Farhadi) and 'Under the Shadow' (Babak Anvari) will also be screened in world Cinema section. Iranian actress Baran Kosari is a member of IFFK jury. The 21st International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will be underway until December 16 in India. 1378/IRNA
