Lombok Hit By Earthquake Again, This Time Magnitude 7

JAKARTA, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- Lombok island was hit by a massive earthquake again, this time a magnitude seven temblor, Sunday. According to Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency Information and Public Relations Centre head Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the earthquake struck 27km North East of northern Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara at 6.46pm local time. “It has the potential to unleash a tsunami,” he said in a statement here.
