Minor Earthquake Hits Sumbawa Region, Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- A minor earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the Sumbawa region of Indonesia Monday morning. A statement issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department said the quake occurred at 13 km northeast of Mataram at 8.28 am Monday. There was no tsunami warning following the quake. -- BERNAMA
